Although its production is kept under wraps, there are some details about the model, which were revealed by the tuning company DMC.
The model will be a car of apparently more compact size than the original Aventador with a design between a Sian at the front and a new Countach LPI 800-4 at the rear.
Bright red in color, the model uses the current layout of some of Bull's latest supercars, such as the four exhausts placed in the center of the rear bumper or the two side air intakes placed behind the doors.
According to the company, the new Lamborghini will be Sant'Agata's first plug-in hybrid model that will combine a large-capacity V-12 engine with a plug-in hybrid system.
It's hard to predict how much power the new supercar will deliver, but rumors suggest it will be a little closer to 800 horsepower.
Those numbers will put the likely successor to the Aventador alongside models like the Ferrari SF90 Stradale, also a plug-in hybrid model.
Super car launch forecast
While many have yet to see the car, some select customers have confirmed that a demo car will be shown at select dealers as early as December 2022.
Testing is expected to continue through 2023 and production will begin in early 2024, meaning it could arrive as a Lamborghini model year 2024 or even 2025.
